About Us

LED PROJECTS have been at the forefront of Light Pollution and part of a global effort to reduce environmental impact and increase awareness concerning CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY.
Many Company Directors and shareholders are recognizing their obligation to assess the environmental effects of business decisions.

LED PROJECTS Primary Objectives:

  • Reduce energy consumption - no more high energy and out of reach bulbs
  • Reduce associate Operating and Maintenance Costs - wasted maintenance hours
  • Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions - Hazardous wastes
  • Increase Eco friendly buildings - concern about the environment

LED PROJECTS has undertaken to promote the use of LED lighting in all buildings with energy saving technology and ensure all new buildings are designed with:

  • Biodegradable disposable materials where possible
  • Long life lamps for cost effective maintenance
  • Less Emissions by installing light fittings with very low consumption of power

Management Profiles


Jill has been involved with LED Projects/LED Metering since inception in 1994. She was born in Durban and has travelled extensively, committed to energy solutions for both domestic and commercial projects in Africa and abroad.

Jill has been accredited with Energy Efficient Project and is a current member of I.E.S.S.A (Illumination Engineering Society of South Africa).

Jill actively assists community projects where possible and is passionate about the upliftment of the rural population generally, and in particular the Republic of South Africa.


Dave is the co-founder of LED Projects which was established in 1994. He has vast experience in lighting design and marketing. As a member of I.M.M (Institute of Marketing Management) and I.E.S.S.A. (Illumination Engineering Society of South Africa) he has been involved in numerous commercial and industrial projects looking at Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings.
